Rye Derby & Healthy Kids Day
| Hundreds of families, racers, and kids at heart enjoyed a sunny Healthy Kids Day and Rye Derby at the Rye Y on Sunday, May 2. The event was made possible by dozens of sponsors and volunteers; proceeds will go towards Rye Y scholarships and teen programming. The winners of the 5 mile race were:

| Membership Changes | |
Effective May 1, several changes have been made to Rye YMCA Policies:
- Family memberships now include children enrolled in college until they are no longer in school or turn 23 years of age, whichever occurs first.
- Hold Status is now available to current members who would like to place their membership on hold for a minimum of two months and a maximum of 5 months. The fee is $10 a month. Hold Status request requires 15 day written notice and does not apply to Youth or College Away memberships.
- Smoking will not be permitted on any Rye Y premises including outside the facility, the grounds, and the parking lot.

The Rye YMCA is open for basketball, swimming (swim caps required), working out, video games, or socializing with friends in the Teen Lounge.
