The Rye YMCA Wave Ryeders ended the 2007-08 season undefeated - for the 3rd year in a row! The team is now preparing for the Westchester Fairfield Swim League's Championship meet where they will be challenged by local powerhouses such as the White Plains and New Rochelle YMCA's. Time trials during the week of March 2nd will culminate with finals on March 9th.
Sixty-five members of the Wave Ryders will go on to compete against other YMCAs from around the State in the New York State YMCA Championships, held March 14-16 at the Nassau County Aquatics Center. This is the largest States Team that the Rye YMCA has fielded in its history. The coaches would like to thank all the swimmers, parents, and YMCA employees for making the season so successful!
