November is member focused at IABC First Coast. We ask you to please look for the annual chapter survey via email. We'll use your input to plan the 2010 professional development programs. What do you need to learn more about to advance your career? What's an emerging communications trend that you think would make a great workshop topic?  We want to hear from you!

Thank you for participating in the 2010 Executive Board Election process. I'm pleased to announce the 2010 IABC First Coast Executive Board:
Mitzi Saul, President
Susan McDowell, President-Elect
Karen Stewart, VP Finance
Justin McCahill, VP Administration
Susan McDowell, VP Membership
Diana Greenburg, VP Professional Development
Sandy Wilson, VP Communications
Judi Herring, VP Chapter Involvement

We're a successful regional communications organization benefiting from strong leadership. Most important, we're able to offer more valuable resources to our community through our member support and participation. As always, I look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming programs.

Sincerely,

Kristen Potter 2009"One of the greatest things about IABC First Coast is the professional development events every month. This year, IABC First Coast has clearly focused on making the professional development events relevant to our time. Chapter meetings highlighted social media skills and recession-busting communications strategies. These were specifically helpful for me in my career."

If you are starting your career, the transportation field offers various opportunities in the communications field for a multitude of diverse organizations such as local, state, federal government; railroads; consulting firms; construction firms; airports, seaports, etc.
