During the wars, outstanding American artists contributed to the war effort through their artwork which encouraged frugality, conservation and other measures to win the war on the home front. Join anthropologist & archaeologist Alan Leveillee as he discusses how the investigation of the bits and pieces of the past can give voice to 10,000 years of New England History. You are welcome to bring your own old artifacts along.  Alan may surprise you with the story they tell!  Part 3 of the "Summer on the Bay at the Library" series. There will be 2 more book discussions this summer for students who have completed Grades 3 - 6.  The next discussion will be on the book Holes by Louis Sachar, on Thursday, July 24 at  6:00  p.m.
