- The Committee on Aging will sponsor the 2012 Fall Camp at Shrine Mont October 22-25, with keynote speaker Philip Gulley; chaplain the Rt. Rev. Holly Hollerith; and singer/storyteller Ed Kilbourne. Learn more and download a registration form.
- The Committee on Race Relations will sponsor a "Seeing the Face of God in Each Other" anti-racism workshop October 26-27 at Christ Church, Glen Allen. Participation in this workshop satisfies the requirement that prospective transitional and vocational deacons attend an anti-racism workshop as a prerequisite to ordination. Other Events & Announcements- Westminster Canterbury, Richmond invites clergy and lay congregational ministers to a seminary, "When Words Fail: Practical Ministry to Pepole with Dementia," September 27, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The seminary will highlight the physiological, emotional and spiritual effects of dementia.
