I Can't Remember It Because I Never Knew It

This year's annual giving workshop, Bringing God's Gifts to the Table, has had 110 attendees representing 41 churches from your Diocese and one from the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia.

World Refugee Day

Wednesday, June 20, is World Refugee Day, and the Episcopal Church recognizes the plight of vulnerable refugees around the world.

On behalf of the Church, Episcopal Migration Ministries and its 31 local partner agencies serve those uprooted by persecution, violence and war through resettlement to the U.S.

Episcopal Migration Ministries helps refugees - restricted in movement, denied basic rights and freedoms, living in fear and without hope - to rebuild their lives with dignity and self-determination.

Episcopal Migration Ministries and its local partners engage churches in faithful service to some of the world's most vulnerable people. The Episcopal Church's Office of Government Relations advocates for a society that is responsive to the uprooted,
and works to tear down the structures that lead to suffering and displacement.
