Genesis Covenant Webinar

Does your church want to reduce operating costs, cut your carbon footprint, and attract and engage new members? This webinar is for you! Learn more about the Genesis Covenant and GreenFaith Certification Program by joining a webinar on June 7 from 8- 9 p.m., led by GreenFaith and Mike Schut, economic and environmental affairs officer for the Episcopal Church. Register for the webinar today. The Genesis Covenant, adopted at the 2009 General Convention, challenges faith institutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent in 10 years. The Getting Started Guide will help parishes take action on this important goal.

The GreenFaith Certification Program is a nationally-recognized, two-year program which helps congregations "green" their worship, education, facilities, and outreach. The webinar will introduce the Getting Started on the Genesis Covenant resource guide, and will highlight the Certification Program. Even if you cannot attend the live webinar, please register to receive a recording of the webinar!
