- Bishop Gulick will ordain Jo Belser, Laura Cochran, David Crosby, Elizabeth Locher, Cayce Ramsey and Leslie Steffensen to the transitional diaconate on June 2 at St. Andrew's, Burke. Bishop Johnston will ordain Megan Limburg, Robert Morris, Amy Spagna and Andrew Terry to the transitional diaconate on June 9 at Holy Comforter, Richmond. All are welcome to these celebrations!

- This fall, make your annual giving campaign into an appeal for supporting the ministries of your church in one of the following workshops. You will tell the story of your ministry in a narrative budget and design a pledge card with a new look. Please register 10 days in advance in order to prepare, and consider sending at least two representatives from your church. No charge! Genesis Covenant Webinar

Register for the webinar today. The Genesis Covenant, adopted at the 2009 General Convention, challenges faith institutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent in 10 years. The Getting Started Guide will help parishes take action on this important goal.
The GreenFaith Certification Program is a nationally-recognized, two-year program which helps congregations "green" their worship, education, facilities, and outreach. The webinar will introduce the Getting Started on the Genesis Covenant resource guide, and will highlight the Certification Program.
