Need to Know
- Learn more about Dayspring, the comprehensive initiative that allows the entire Diocese to join together in discerning the work of the Holy Spirit as we examine how to use our resources for the ministry of the Church following the January 10 opinion returning Episcopal properties to the Diocese.
- Last week, the candidates for bishop suffragan completed a series of walkabouts to introduce themselves to the Diocese. Learn more about what happens next in the process - and what you can do to support that work - in this letter from the president of the Standing Committee and the chair of the Transition Committee. Then, review each candidate's answers to a series of questions, available on the Suffragan Search Site (see "Q&A").
- Voting members of the Electing Council for bishop suffragan: don't forget to submit the appropriate certificates and register by April 15!
- Less than one week remains to submit an initial letter of inquiry for a Mustard Seed Grant. Guidelines and applications are now available for parishes, missions, regions and college chaplaincies working to strengthen the various ministries of the Diocese.

Diocesan Events
- Save the date for the Bishop's Spring Conference for clergy, lay professionals and their spouses, May 7-9 at Shrine Mont. Registration will open in early April.
- On Friday, May 25, the bishop and the Memorial Trustees of Roslyn will host a dedication of the Chancellor's Room at Roslyn in memory of Russell V. Palmore Jr. Reception and portrait unveiling to follow. 3 p.m. More details to follow.
- The PYM Senior High Week, April 13-15 at Shrine Mont, will challenge, inspire and strengthen high school students. All youth and youth leaders are welcome.

Holy Week in the Diocese of Virginia
The bishops of the Diocese invite clergy to attend the Reaffirmation of Ordination Vows and Blessing of Oil of Chrism.
Four services will be held during Holy Week, all at 11 a.m.:
Tuesday, April 3 at St. Peter's in the Woods, Fairfax Station with Bishop Johnston
Wednesday, April 4 at Emmanuel, Woodstock with Bishop Gulick
Thursday, April 5 at Epiphany, Richmond with Bishop Johnston
Thursday, April 5 at St. Stephen's, Culpeper with Bishop Gulick

- Clergy in rural areas can sign up for free, one-day workshops offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs to educate these community leaders about the concerns of veterans and the services offered by the VA in their communities.
