Need to Know
  • The Episcopal Church Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music issued a statement regarding inconsistencies between the Revised Common Lectionary and the Holy Week Liturgies of the Book of Common Prayer. Learn more.  
  • Scholarship Application Forms from the Episcopal Church Women for college and seminary students are now available online. These scholarships are funded through the Book of Remembrance and Gift of Life Ministries of the ECW. The deadline is June 30.    
Diocesan Events 
  • Members of the Electing Council for Bishop Suffragan on April 21 at St. George's, Fredericksburg must register no later than April 15. Learn more about the process online.
  • Registration is now open for two spring events planned by the Parish Youth Ministries Committee. Make plans to attend the Youth Day of Service at St. Andrew's, Arlington on March 17 and the Senior High Weekend at Shrine Mont April 13-15 with members of your church or youth group. Questions?   • The Leadership Program for Musicians will host a spring workshop on March 10 around the theme of "Music that Makes Community," a movement in the Church that rekindles an ancient practice of singing. Digital Formation
Digital Formation is a new program of the Episcopal Church Office of Communications, partnered with General Theological Seminary, to offer online education programs on technology and social media through a series of Webinars.

Programs are geared toward both clergy and laity. Registration is free, but space is limited and advance sign-up is required.
