Need to Know
Please note the following important reminders and updates about Annual Council: - Registration will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday evening and from 7-8:30 a.m. on Friday morning in Regency A&B. The first business session of Council will start at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
- A reception for the General Convention Deputation will take place from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday evening in the Grand Ballroom.
- Please bring Council materials, including the initial print packet and the supplemental print packet, with you to Council. Please note that page 27 of the supplemental packet had a text correction made to it (changing Executive Committee to Executive Council in line 20 of CR-8). This change was made to the packet shortly after it was first distributed via e-mail.
- All are welcome at the Eucharist and service of leave taking for Bishop Jones at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be followed by a dinner and party in honor of David and Kay Jones that evening.

Diocesan Events
- Save the date for upcoming Parish Youth Ministries events: registration is open for the PYM Spring Day of Service, March 17 at St. Andrew's, Arlington. The PYM Senior High Weekend will take place April 13-15 at Shrine Mont. More info to follow!
- On Saturday, February 11, Bishop Johnston will ordain Donald Holmes Cady, Christine Joyce Garcia and Frederico Eloy Garza Jr. to the sacred order of deacons. All are welcome. 10:30 a.m., St. Paul's, Ivy.

Episcopal Church Building Fund
The Episcopal Church Building Fund has openings for two to three congregations to join a consulting process in Virginia aimed at helping congregations who have building space but who are struggling financially to make ends meet.
The process forms a learning community that meets onsite three times together and five times through Webex meetings over the course of a year with facilitators and peer accountability with the aim to effect change directed at earning income through the building, creating a greater relationship and sense of relevance to the community through their programming and building use, and ultimately looking at doing church differently so that they are not obsolete.
