Need to Know
- The Virginia deputation to General Convention invites you to share your feedback on the proposed Anglican Communion Covenant. The deputation has compiled the Covenant draft plus some study guides, articles and resources online, and invites members of the Diocese to review these materials and share their reflections and feedback with the deputation through this online form.
- Learn how churches in Essex County - including St. John's, Tappahannock, Grace, Millers Tavern and St. Paul's, Millers Tavern - are getting involved in local outreach in this article in the diocesan News Room: "Essex Churches Feed a Community."

Shrine Mont Camps
The diocesan Office of Christian Formation is busy gearing up for the 2012 summer camp season at Shrine Mont! Please check the camp Web Site for some important updates, including the following:
Camp Dates for 2012 are now available online. Prices for each session will be posted by the end of the year, and registration will open on January 4, 2012.
Shrine Mont is hiring five camp directors for Music & Drama Camp, Art Camp, Explorers' Camp, St. George's Camp & Senior High Youth Conference. Camp Director Applications are available online. Counselor applications and job descriptions will be available in January! All campers are invited to the Annual Shrine Mont Camp Reunion on December 17 at Church of the Creator, Mechanicsville from 1-4 p.m. Come for fun, games and worship - plus a canned food drive to benefit the Central Virginia Food bank. |
