  • Read Bishop Johnston's letter to the Diocese regarding last week's earthquake, and consider making a donation to the Bound Together: Earthquake Relief Assistance Fund.  
  • Feasting on Gratitude is a series of stewardship reflections based on the Gospel readings from Matthew from October 2 through November 6. Published by the Episcopal Church, these reflections could be used for Annual Giving Committee meetings, forums and bulletin inserts.

  • What could be more important that living water to sustain our physical and spiritual lives? Learn more by attending the Water Sustainability Conference: Part II, Continuing The Dialogue, sponsored by the Diocese of Virginia's Stewardship of Creation Committee. The Committee has brought together various experts from the Commonwealth of Virginia, U.S. Geological Survey, and private industry to speak on topics from water use and rights to sustainable landscaping for church and home properties and practical advice that your church can implement to ensure we have a sustainable water supply. Remembering 9/11

The Executive Council of the Episcopal Church has invited churches to commemorate the 10th anniversary of September 11 with a weekend of prayer, remembrance and healing.  

 

The Diocese has compiled a list of events and resources surrounding the anniversary, posted online, including a litany created by Bishop Johnston.
