Need to Know
- All churches should be on the lookout for an important packet in the mail from the diocesan offices that includes:
-A picture of the Rt. Rev. Ted Gulick, Assistant Bishop; -The annual Virginia Episcopalian contribution asking and mailing list update; -The 2011 version of the Constitution & Canons; -Other important announcements regarding youth programming, the Bishop's Spring Conference, parish health ministries and the diocesan auditors. - All churches will be receiving a FedEx Office discount card in the mail in the coming weeks. This card will give you special discounted diocesan rates on printing and business needs at your local FedEx Office.

Diocesan Events
- Hear from the bishop on why you should attend the Bishop's Spring Conference for clergy, lay professionals and spouses at Shrine Mont May 2-4. Then register online!
- The diocesan Committee on Mental Health will sponsor a Conference on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder on Saturday, April 30 at Holy Comforter, Richmond. For survivors, caregivers, their families and those who are interested
in learning more about PTSD in childhood trauma survivors, soldiers, wounded warriors and military personnel. - The diocesan Committee on Race Relations has scheduled two upcoming anti-racism trainings: May 20-21 at St. Mark's, Richmond and October 14-15 at Trinity, Highland Springs. - Services for the renewal of ordination vows and blessing of oil of chrism will be held for clergy in the Diocese during Holy Week. Learn more and register to attend a service.
- Registration is still open for the ECW Prayer & Worship Retreat, April 14 at Church of the Messiah, Fredericksburg.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game Show your Episcopal pride at the Richmond Diamond on Wednesday, April 13 as our own Bishop Johnston throws out the first pitch for the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
Game time is 10:30 a.m., so come early to see the bishop smoke one on the inside of the plate! The Squirrels will take on the Bowie Baysox of Bowie, Maryland.
Tickets are available online. Join diocesan staff and other Episcopalians for a day of fun!
