Need to Know
  • Are you using Paychex through the Episcopal Payroll Services (EPS) for your payroll needs?  Starting April 1, 2011, existing EPS clients will begin moving to Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) for payroll processing.  This means cost savings, a higher level of service and a Web-based processing option.  Patricia Tucker, account manager for EPS (a service of the Church Pension Group) will reach out to churches using the Paychex service to  discuss the transition.  As of January 1, 2012, ADP will be the only payroll processor supported by EPS. To be among the first groups to transition to ADP and start saving sooner, contact Patricia Tucker, 800-223-6602 x6286.

Clergy Orientation Session

The Diocese will host a Clergy Orientation on Tuesday, May 10 at Mayo Memorial Church House, the diocesan headquarters in Richmond. This day is designed to help ensure that clergy entering our diocesan community feel welcomed and supported and know about the resources available to them and their congregations.  Attendees are invited to worship during the weekly Eucharist, join together in lunch, meet the diocesan staff and participate in a question and answer session.

All clergy who have started new ministries in the Diocese within the past 12-18 months, including newly ordained clergy and clergy who are transitioning from other dioceses, are invited to attend.

Please confirm your attendance for the May 10 session with Cathy Gowen by April 29.
