Need to Know
- The Diocese is now accepting nominations for committee and commission membership through an online form. In particular, we're looking to fill membership on the newly-formed Commission on Christian Formation, Commission on Human Dignity & Justice, Commission on Strengthening Our Churches and Commission on Mission & Outreach. Consider nominating an individual for membership.
- What type of Lenten programming is your church planning for the 2011 season? The Diocese is collecting a list of Lenten resources and events. Contact Emily Cherry to share your programming and events with the Diocese.
- World Mission Sunday takes place on March 6. Visit the Episcopal Church Web site for ideas and resources to celebrate this day.
- Sunday, March 13, the first Sunday of Lent, is Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday in the Diocese of Virginia. Visit ERD online for ideas on how to incorporate this theme into your Sunday worship.

- The PYM Youth Day of Service will take place March 12 at Trinity, Arlington. The PYM Senior High Weekend will take place April 1-3 at Shrine Mont. Registration is now open.
- Save the date for the Bishop's Spring Conference at Shrine Mont on May 2 and the New Clergy Orientation Session at the diocesan offices at Mayo House on May 10. More details TBA.
