SHIPPING YOUR
 TROPHIES HOME
One of the most frequently asked questions we  get is about shipping trophies home after the hunt. Hunters
usually want to know who
to use to handle the shipping, customs clearance and other related paperwork. We use only one company
Fauna and Flora. They are experienced and professional and they have done a great job for many of our clients.

They offer two options for trophy shipment you may either ship by air or sea. Shipping by sea takes a few weeks longer but is significantly cheaper.

There have been some questions about possible moisture damage to trophies shipped by sea. This is not a problem. Trophies are shipped below deck in watertight containers. Think about the millions of electronic items shipped here by sea that are not damaged by moisture. We recommend Fauna & Flora without hesitation. Please call them directly with any questions you may have about your trophy shipments (718) 977-7700.

BREAKING NEWS !

We just heard from one of our top outfitters in Namibia
that he has been awarded one of the single best concessions in Africa for trophy elephants. This concession was last hunted 10 years ago by famed elephant hunter Kai Uwe Denker. His clients consistently took huge elephants here.
According to Elephant tusksour outfitter who has been hunting elephants for 30 years in Namibia this concession will produce huge trophy results for those willing to put in the shoe leather, walking miles a day. For those who do there is an excellent chance that elephants over 70 lbs will be taken with a real chance at taking elephants over 80 lbs!

The tusks in this photo were taken with
the outfitter in a different concession in
2007 and go roughly 70lbs per side.

The 2009 price for a 14 day hunt is $25,760 daily rate (includes VAT), $7,600 gov't fees, and $14,000 trophy fee for the elephant no matter how large. Total is $47,360.

These hunts are not for those unwilling to work hard for their trophy. We know that the price will be increasing in 2010 and it could be a very significant increase, most likely a total cost of around $70,000.

While in Namibia in 2007 I had the pleasure of hunting buffalo with this outfitter and killed a beauty on the second day. Since we had time left we went looking for elephants for the next client who was arriving in a few days. I learned that this PH is a knowledgeable elephant hunter who will hunt his heart out for you. He knows elephants!

If you have ever seriously thought of hunting a true trophy elephant, on foot with a top quality PH then this hunt is for you. We have VERY limited slots open so if you have any interest please call me today on my cell phone at 520-404-8096.

I use Long Grass shooting Sticks and gaiters.

I have been hunting with Long Grass shooting sticks for a few years now. I bought them because they were the best I could find. They recently sent me a set of their Gaiters and I love them. They are well made, durable and are available in leather or canvas.
