I want to be sure that you don't miss this coming Sunday at the Symphony of Life. We have a special guest speaker, Suzi Lula, Agape Licensed Spiritual Counselor. Suzi's topic is "From Surviving to Thriving." To continue the conversation, right after service at 12:30, she will be doing a workshop entitled: "Thriving: It's Your True Nature." She is asking a love donation of $10 (no one will be turned away). She tells us "We can't give away what we don't have. The more we THRIVE in our life, the more we have to share with others. Classes will be starting on Thursday, September 13 

Rev. Karen will be teaching "Tools for Spiritual Living," the Foundation Class and prerequisite class for all other classes being offered. This ten-week class begins on Thursday, September 13, 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Would you like to enhance your spiritual connection to a Higher Power? Are you ready to discover your emerging direction and purpose and how to make it happen? Join Rev. Karen for ten weeks of self-discovery and revelation within an experiential format of lecture, discussion, sharing and process. At the Symphony of Life, we now have a Science of Mind educational curriculum which will serve the needs of those who just want to develop the skills for more effective living, as well as those seriously interested in becoming Science of Mind affiliated practitioners and ministers.

Gods and Goddesses Come One, Come All 

"Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Gods and Goddesses of the Symphony of Life! Come one, come all to a gathering of great minds under the stars. Share a snippet of your wisdom, your talent, or your unique journey....feed the reveling spirit. Sing a song? Dance your dance, or simply recite!" There will be fine dinner faire and even a band to entertain us! BYO beverage. Entrance fee is $15 (or 50 rare rubies); guests new to the Symphony of Life are FREE. When is all this revelry taking place? Friday, September 14, at 5:00 pm and on into the night, 506 Shady Lane, Ojai 93023 (8 houses south of Grand). Bring your friends! It's time we share our philosophy of love, joy, peace and well being! This garden party is sponsored by the newly formed Symphony of Life Creativity Committee to share our joy and abundance through spirituality.

Tithe Recipient for July 

The Symphony of Life was proud to present its July tithe to 100 for Ojai Schools, a non-profit grass roots organization of community members who love Ojai and its schools and want to save Ojai teachers' jobs, keep classes from overcrowding and save electives from being eliminated. Pictured below are founders Karen McBride and Elisa Oliver shown receiving a Certificate of Appreciation and the tithe check from Rev. Karen Wylie.

Symphony of Life Book Club Meets Tonight 

If you feel so inclined, come on over to Rev. Karen's home, 411 E. Villanova Road, at 7:00 pm tonight for our September meeting of the SOLSC Book Club. We will be discussing our current read and also choosing our book for the month of September. Dessert will be served. Everyone is welcome to join in at any time. Contact Rev.
