Our Visioning Celebration We had wonderful attendance for our visioning this past Sunday and also for the meditation which preceded it and for the free one-hour prosperity workshop "Prosper Now" that was led by Rev. Marilyn Miller afterward. I am grateful for the participation and sharing as we continue to allow our spiritual community to unfold to its highest expression. Enjoy the pictures below. 
New Prosperity Class Being Offered It's not too late to sign up for the 8-week prosperity class, "The Five Gifts of Prosperity" which begins on Thursday, July 12, 7:00 - 9:30 pm, at The Ojai Retreat. The class will explore proven prosperity tools in a powerful support group dedicated to improving your ability to attract the abundant life. Rev. Marilyn Miller, the facilitator says, "If you participate fully in this program, it is guaranteed to work." The books The Five Gifts and the Science of Getting Rich are required course materials. Our July Luncheon Sea Fresh Restaurant will be the location of our July Lunch Bunch right after service at 12:30 this Sunday, July 8. Come and join the party! Volunteer of the Month for July Our beautiful Volunteer of the Month for July is Donna Elam. Donna has been of great service to us at the Symphony of Life in so many ways. She coordinated all the food for the ordination and has brought food on many other occasions. She serves at our center as a greeter at the door and often does our morning reading for us. Because of her great personality, she has also just recently been appointed as our new Community Events Coordinator. We are looking forward to some exciting and fun events for the summer. We appreciate her sacred "yes" to service! 
Donna Elam and Rev. Karen Symphony of Life Book Club The Symphony of Life Book Club will be meeting tonight, Friday, July 6, at 7:00 pm at Donna Elam's home to choose our book for the month of July. Dessert is provided. You are welcome to join in at any time. Contact Donna Elam, (805) 649-1442, for more info and directions to her home. Gratitude and Appreciation Our loving gratitude and appreciation goes to Candace Hull who facilitated our children's program during our Visioning Celebration. Concert under the Stars and Silent Auction Buy a ticket now for our "Concert under the Stars" event which is coming up on Sunday, July 22, at The Ojai Retreat. This concert will feature Cardinali & Company. There will be a Silent Auction and appetizers in the Waterfall Garden from 5:30-6:30 p.m. (no host bar), and the concert begins at 6:30 on the Shangri-la Terrace. The Silent Auction features 50 amazing gifts and services, including one week in a Hawaiian condo. Tickets are $20 in advance; $25 at the door and can be purchased online at www.solsc.org or in person at the Symphony of Life Spiritual Center, Contempo Hair Salon, or Soul Centered, a metaphysical shoppe, all located here in Ojai. Cardinali & Company is a versatile and creative combo that surprises their audiences with the variety of genres they bring to their performances. From beautiful ballads, folk and rock Americana to blues and swingin' jazz, they draw on an extensive song list of original compositions as well as classic favorites and not so familiar covers. Band members for the night include Don Cardinali, lead singer Patricia Cardinali, Randy Tico, and Dave Stewart.
