Sacred Service Saturday Well, as you know, our sacred service got rained out last week, but we have been rescheduled. Join the Symphony of Life tomorrow as it gathers to serve from 8:30 - 12:30 with Ojai Trees. We meet at lower Libbey Park in Ojai, which is at 405 South Montgomery Street where the lower tennis courts are located. Please wear appropriate work gear, boots, gloves, hat, etc. Bring water to drink. You will be assigned to a team of volunteers. Tree planting is completed by 12:30 and we finish up with a free yummy snack lunch party. You will be supervised by a trained planting supervisor. Tools and materials are provided by Ojai Trees. The work is easy and fun because "many hands make light work." There will be strong people on each team to do lifting and tough digging. This is a great opportunity to take some positive action toward healing the environment right near where you live. To participate with us tomorrow, you can send an e-mail to Ojai Trees, ojaitrees@sbcglobal.net and call Tom Bostrom at (805) 798-5648. Gratitude and Appreciation Thank you Jami, Suzi and William Lula for providing such a wonderful morning of love, beauty and talent this past Sunday. Suzi was our speaker and she did a fabulous job. Jami's songs were beautiful and inspiring; and their son, William, did everything from videography to drawing to piano playing to singing. It is clear that he comes from musical, talented and loving parents. The workshop after service was a sacred, heart-opening experience. We are blessed to have our Lula friends.

Visioning This Sunday We will have our monthly visioning meeting this Sunday, March 25, right after service at 12:15 in the children's area. We vision to capture the Divine idea for our individual lives and also for the growth and expansion of the Symphony of Life Spiritual Center. Your participation is appreciated!
Free Spiritual Cinema Night Our monthly Spiritual Cinema Night, sponsored by the Symphony of Life and Casa de La Luna Retreat, will take place on Friday, March 30, at Casa de La Luna, 710 S. La Luna Avenue (between Baldwin Road and W. Lomita Avenue). This month's feature is The Way, a powerful and inspirational story about family, friends and finding meaning in the tragedies and challenges of life. Martin Sheen plays Tom, an American doctor who comes to France to deal with the tragic loss of his son. Rather than return home, Tom decides to honor his son's intention to complete the historical pilgrimage known as Camino de Santiago, or "The Way," by walking it for him. As fate would have it, the trip has a profound impact on Tom, inspiring him to consider the difference between "the life we live and the life we choose." Norman Carter, who has himself twice completed "The Way," walking from St. Jean Pied de Port, France, to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, will help lead the discussion that follows the screening. Others who have completed the pilgrimage are invited to come and share their experiences as well. Doors open at 6:30 and the movie begins promptly at 7:00 pm. Although the event is free, donations are gratefully accepted and go to Casa de La Luna Retreat. For further info, contact Leslee Goodman, (805) 625-1031.
Tithe Recipient for February We are pleased to present our tithe recipient for February. This time we are honoring the work being done by Peggie Williamson and her non-profit 501(c)3 organization, Wishworks International. Wishworks provides books, school supplies and other resources directly to teachers in Musoma, Tanzania of Africa. This helps to insure that all children have the necessary materials for a quality education. Wishworks is a totally volunteer organization with no paid staff. They rely on donations and purchases from Made in Musoma Artists Co-op (which Peggie founded to support women artists) for their funding. We are proud of Peggie and the work she is doing in Africa.
Creative Adventures Winter Program We welcome children 3-11 years of age to enjoy prayer, story telling, visual arts projects and/or music and movement. Our program is enriching and appropriate for young people regardless of their religious backgrounds. We are currently looking for two facilitators to assist with our children's program. Please call Rev. Marilyn Miller, (805) 640-0498, if you are interested in serving in this way. Open Invitation This is an invitation to singers and musicians out there who would like to perform at the Symphony of Life. Contact Rev. Karen, (805) 640-3743, or Patricia Cardinali, (805) 646-2098, if you are interested.
