Greetings beautiful beings of light and love! Happy Valentine's Day! This is a month when we celebrate love in all its many forms. Love is the greatest healing power on the planet. As we continue on our spiritual journey awakening in consciousness day by day, we discover greater and greater love within. The greatest gift is when we begin to live from that place of the love within us....our Divine Self. We can set ourselves free from ideas of lack and limitation or unworthiness, or from ideas that what we are seeking is somehow outside of us. We can accept the idea that we are perfect radiant beings of light and love. What a thought, yes? That somehow we are possibly that beautiful!
That is the message I am to deliver to you today, that you are the Beloved in whom God is so well pleased. You are It's creation like a great work of art, no less than the lilies of the field. How could God possibly be displeased with Its great masterpiece which is you? It is not possible. As we begin to believe in our own preciousness, in our own inner beauty, we attract more of that great beauty into our lives. That is the way the law of the universe works.
Today, I send this love note to you so that you won't forget how much you are loved by the Love Intelligence that created you. You are here to shine your light so brightly and to love yourself unconditionally just as God loves you. You cannot compare yourself to another because you are a unique expression of life itself. There is no other like you. You have a unique and special purpose for being here on the planet which is for you to discover. I welcome you into the great revelation of the truth of your being! Happy Valentine's Day!
Our affirmation for the day: I activate within me a deep and abiding love that transcends all wounds, fears, doubts, and unhealed relationships! I can rest in peace for I am lovable and worthy of great love and joy!

Lasting Love Made Easy - The Greatest Love Event Ever in Ojai! Well folks this is your final opportunity to participate in the workshop offered by Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks, "Everything singles and couples really need to know about great relationships," Sunday, February 12, 2012, from 2:00 - 5:00 PM with a book signing from 5:00 - 5:30 PM. This event will be held in the Matilija Auditorium, 703 El Paseo Road, Ojai 93023. Tickets: $30 prepaid; $35 at the door. Tickets are on sale on line at www.solsc.org , at Contempo Hair Salon, Soul-Centered, a metaphysical shoppe, and at the Symphony of Life Spiritual Center, all located in Ojai. I know that I still have some things to learn about love so I'll be there. Take some time out to get still, open your heart, and let Spirit have Its way with you. I don't think you'll be disappointed. 
Kathlyn and Gay Hendricks Symphony of Life Free Spiritual Cinema Night Our next free cinema night will be on Friday, February 17. The movie begins at 7:00 PM with the doors opening at 6:30. We meet in the multi-media room at Casa de La Luna, 710 La Luna. These evenings have been quite successful with many people from the community attending and lively discussion after each film. Our showing for February 17 is the movie "Love Actually." Even if you've seen this film, come see it again and join us in a stimulating conversation afterwards. Sound Garden Sanctuary Join Darrell Deerborn for an individual and group healing experience at the Woman's Center right after service on Sunday, February 19, from 12:15 to 1:45. Darrell plays the didgeridoo, harmonium, and Native American flute for us at the Symphony of Life. After service, he will be facilitating an experience in sound which bridges science and spirituality utilizing sacred breath, toning the chakras, creative imagination and the highest intentions of love and peace. He invites you to come and experience the healing power of your own voice as the most healing instrument on the planet. 
Darrell Deerborn Volunteer of the Month Our Volunteer of the Month for the month of February is Randee Vasilakos. Randee serves as our Practitioner at the Symphony of Life; and as head of our Prayer Ministry, she has consistently held a beautiful vibration of love and peace for our spiritual center. She prays with members of our congregation on a regular basis and offers her counseling services as needed. She is also currently serving as a member on the Board of Directors. We are in deep gratitude for Randee's excellent leadership as Team Leader for our most recent event, Lasting Love Made Easy with Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks. We are so grateful for Randee's presence in our community! 
Creative Adventures Winter Program Our deep and profound thanks to Robert Gluckson and his son who facilitated our youth program this past Sunday. We welcome children 3-11 years of age to enjoy prayer, story telling, visual arts projects and/or music and movement. Our program is enriching and appropriate for young people regardless of their religious backgrounds. Please call Rev.
