Aloha from the beautiful island of Hawaii! I'm here to speak on Sunday at the Center for Spiritual Living in West Hawaii. I appreciate this time of rest and renewal which is always my experience in the Islands. This morning we went swimming in Kealakakekua Bay, looking for the dolphins who always come in to play and rest in one of the many bays along the shore. We did not see them this morning, but did get to see and appreciate a breathtaking underwater world while snorkeling in the beautiful tropical waters.
In my absence, Rev. Marilyn Miller will be the speaker this coming Sunday at the Symphony of Life. She has prepared a sacred ceremony for you entitled "Receiving Your Infinite Supply." She invites you to join her with the following words. "The promise of prosperity is deeply embedded in American values. Yet we easily forget that we must clear the channels of our hearts, minds and spirits in order to receive the prosperous blessings we desire. Through music and prayer, we will experience a community ceremony to release past injuries by laying our burdens down to create a wider channel for the divine flow to generously provide the blessing we seek."
One hundred percent of spiritual transformation is letting go! Everything is already within you. It's in the letting go and allowing that we receive the infinite supply that God has in store for us. We are here to transform our lives one step at a time. We are basically changing our circuitry, letting go of thought patterns and choices we've been making that have served us in the past but are no longer useful.
I welcome you to join us this Sunday at the Symphony of Life. It will be a wonderful experience which you will not want to miss.

The Fourth of July Parade

Outdoor Summer Concert with Jami Lula!
Come see Jami Lula at the Symphony of Life on Sunday, July 24. He will be singing in the morning at our spiritual center and then later in the day, he will be performing an outdoor summer concert at the Ojai Retreat on Besant Road. We are planning a refreshment/appetizer reception in the Waterfall Garden at the retreat from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. It will include a no host bar and a silent auction, and then Jami will perform in concert on the Shangri-la Terrace from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Our fabulous silent auction features a 7-day, three-bedroom condo stay in Hawaii, and includes artwork, spa and restaurant packages and many other exciting items. Living the Five Agreements
Come join best selling authors Don Miguel Ruiz and Don Jose Ruiz for an afternoon workshop entitled, "Living the Five Agreements." This workshop is presented by the Symphony of Life and will be held on Sunday, August 21, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Ojai Valley Community Church, 907 El Centro. There will also be a book signing thereafter by Don Jose from 5:00 to 5:30 PM. Tickets are $30 prepaid; $35 at the door. There are also group rates available.
