"Rest calm and serene--you are safe and protected

by the Infinite Power of the Father-Mother Mind.

Within the Father-Mother Mind,

mortal children are at home."

The Kybalion

In continuously opening to the infinite possibility for our lives, how can it be otherwise? New desire is generated in us all the time. It is that desire that sends us into the new territory. We trust Spirit, and it brings us onto the higher ground.

We were born for greatness......oh, I'm not talking about some role we play for public adulation. I'm talking about the Living Spirit within each and every one of us, the Spirit that is of Divine Mind. We were not born to play small, to judge and criticize our neighbor, to be bored out of our minds. We came to love and serve a greater idea. Some of us have gotten quite caught up in the minutia of daily living. We have forgotten that we have a choice about the quality of our days, that we can make a decision the minute our eyes open in the early morning hours. This is going to be the best day of my life! We have forgotten about the creative power that lies within us, that we are not a victim of anything.

I'm not saying that living a great life does not require courage sometimes.....and faith and trust. When the world around us seems to be going amuck, our job is to stay the course, hold the high watch, keep our vision strong, pray and meditate, keeping our eye single upon all that is good and holy. We keep our eye single upon the new world--a world filled with peace, joy and love, and we become that.

The best is yet to come. That is an excellent vision to hold for ourselves and for our world. The best is yet to come. Do not fear for anything for the Great God of Love is everywhere!

Our affirmation for the day: I stand firm in my love of God, my love of life, and the miracle of infinite possibility!

In peace and love,
Rev. Karen Wylie

Jami Lula in the House!

Join us this Sunday, April 10th, for a powerful musical treat! Jami Lula is a singer, song writer and recording artist who appears all over the country. He has offered to bring some Lula vibes to our congregation here at the Symphony of Life. Jami has a way of singing a song that touches the depths of your being. Michael Beckwith has said about Jami, "Jami Lula's music is more than a shiver-inducing experience in sound; it is inspiration itself as an offering just to you. What I love about Jami's improvisational textures is the intimacy he exudes through his personal intensity, which comes from a direct relationship with life, his love of it, and of humanity." Come join us for this inspirational journey!

Creative Adventures Winter Program

Rev. Marilyn Miller, with the help of Todd Chandler and Theresa Stafford, facilitated the children's program this past Sunday. We are very grateful to them for their unwavering dedication to our children. Rev. Marilyn is the Director of our Youth Adventures Program, and she has done a great job in spearheading and organizing a fabulous experience for our children.

Our youth program supports parents in raising joyful, happy children who are self-confident, spiritually aware, global citizens. Each Sunday, our children 3-11 years old enjoy prayer, story telling, visual arts projects and/or music and movement. Our program is enriching and appropriate for young people regardless of their religious backgrounds. As part of our Sunday program, children get to explore the roots, purpose and meaning of special holidays throughout the year.

We welcome assistant teachers who enjoy children and are willing to give of their time once monthly or quarterly. Please call Rev. Marilyn Miller if you are interested (805) 640-0498.
