How can I get my youth involved in activities at the church?
The youth ministry has several activities that your teen can get involved in. Tuesday evenings are youth night at LWCC and include: Bible Study, Youth Choir, Drill & Mime Practice, and Open Gym. There is also Dance Ministry which meets on Thursday evenings. If you are interested in getting involved with the youth ministry, please contact Anderson White at: 317-727-2951.

to A Greater Nation" 
LWCC was blessed to host the 2008 Extreme Takeover National Youth Conference July 10-12, 2008. The youth conference, established in 2004, has served over 1,000 youth since its inception. The conference strives to empower and encourage young people as they pursue a personal relationship with Christ. This year, the conference was proud to welcome Rev. Courtney Clayton of Cleveland, OH, as well as Gospel Artists Nue Breed and J Kwest. The conference was truly a blessed event, and a great time was had by all. Thank you LWCC for your support of the 2008 National Youth Conference.

"A Night In White"
One of the most exciting events at the annual youth conference is the formal dance. This year, LWCC's youth put their best foot forward as they celebrated "A Night in White". The LWCC youth proved that it is truly fun to be a Christian.

This summer, CNN will be presenting a ground-breaking documentary titled: "Black In America".
On Wednesday, July 23, the program will focus on "The Black Woman & Family". Soledad O'Brien will explore the varied experiences of black women and families and investigate the reasons behind the disturbing statistics on single parenthood, disparities between black and white students in schools and the devastating toll of HIV/AIDS.
In the "The Black Man," on Thursday, July 24, Soledad O'Brien evaluates the state of black men in America and explores the controversial topics of black men and fatherhood; disparities between blacks and whites in educational, career and financial achievement; and factors leading to the dramatic rates of black male incarceration. The documentary also examines the achievements of black men and the importance of the positive influences of black fathers.
