Make Life Easier: Call the Hungry Horse
It's late. Your family is waiting for dinner and you are exhausted. What to do?
Fifteen minutes is usually all it takes for Steve Artale's staff at the Hungry Horse Restaurant to produce a great meal for a family of four that you can pick up on your way home from the office. You'll still be eating a family style meal around your own dining room table exchanging stories of the day with your spouse and children. You won't miss shopping for groceries or slaving over a hot stove actually preparing supper. You select the entrée from a list of nine, choose two vegetables and either muffins or cornbread and Hungry Horse staff will carefully package it all up so it is piping hot when you serve it to your family.
The price? The dinners for four generally cost less than the cost of the individual ingredients if you had to pick them up at the grocery store yourself.
If you know 24 hours ahead of time that you'll be needing food prepared, consider ordering from Steve's Casseroles to Go menu which includes Lasagna, Shepherd's Pie, Poblano Chicken Enchiladas, King Ranch Chicken and Tuna Pasta Bake. With 24 hours notice the Hungry Horse can have casseroles serving four or serving 12 ready for your family and friends to enjoy with you. Ask them about side orders.
To take advantage of any of these time savers from the Hungry Horse, call 830-816-8989.

Mercedes-Benz of Boerne Selected for Sprinter Vans
Mercedes-Benz is back in the commercial van business and Mercedes-Benz of Boerne is one of only five Texas Mercedes-Benz dealerships offering the acclaimed Sprinter Van, with 2010 models available in cargo vans, passenger vans and cab chassis, and featuring the eco-friendly BlueTEC diesel engine.
"Consumers in the U.S. are already well aware of the Mercedes-Benz name for premium passenger vehicles, but are only just beginning to appreciate the Mercedes-Benz global reputation for excellence in commercial vehicles," explains Bill Bird, general partner and operator of Mercedes-Benz of Boerne. Mercedes-Benz is the world's largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. To date, more than one million Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans have been sold throughout the world.
The 2010 Sprinter Van boasts Best-in-Class features, based on a comparison of the Automotive News classification of full-size commercial vans, including:
· Best-In-Class payload capacity of up to 5,375 lbs.
· Best-In-Classcargo capacity of up to 547 cu. ft.
· Best-In-Classrear and side door opening areas.
· Best-In-Classstanding height of 6'4''.
· Best-in-Classinterior compartment accessibility.
In addition, the Sprinter has one of the cleanest diesel engines in the world and is the only 50-state emissions diesel engine in the industry. Sprinter's BlueTEC engineturns harmful emissions into harmless nitrogen and water - all without sacrificing power, efficient drivetrain, or quiet rides. Other features include ABS, acceleration skid control, load adaptive control, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, roll over mitigation and understeering control. The Sprinter Van is also noted for its high versatility, making it a sort of chameleon among fleet vehicles and used for everything from delivery, service and shuttle vehicles to ambulances and armored vans.
"With factory authorized mobile service available and required only every 10,000 miles instead of 3,000 to 4000, and its low-cost maintenance and operation, the Sprinter is the most practical service vehicle on the road today," says Bird. |

Coyle Engineering, Inc. has won the San Antonio Business Journal's sixth annual Best Places to Work Award. The winners were selected based on the results of online confidential surveys completed by the companies' employees.

Ever Tried Texas Champagne or San Antonio in a Cup?
Click on above logo to visit website. | Tootie Pie Company announced that it is rolling out its new coffee and iced tea at its two Tootie Pie Gourmet Cafés.
"Choosing just the right blend of coffee and tea to serve with Tootie Pie is a serious undertaking" said Don Merrill, President & CEO. "We called on several purveyors of fine coffee and teas, tasting and testing various blends and varieties. We then tested these blends in our Cafés, soliciting customer feedback all along the way. I am happy to announce that we have made our selections."
"A special Latin American blend will be called 'Poquito De San Antonio,' because we think it reflects the flavor of our city. In other words, it's a little bit of San Antonio in a cup," said Merrill.
He added, "Our iced tea blend will be called 'Texas Champagne' in a nod to the special place a good iced tea holds for anyone who lives in or visits the Lone Star State."
"I know it has been tough to be in South Texas and not have iced tea," joked Merrill. "Fortunately, we made it just in time for those long hot summer months. We trust it will be worth the wait, and we appreciated our customer's patience through this and other changes we've made to whip our cafes into shape."
