Rav Moshe Weinberger, shlit'a, the founding Marah d'Asrah of Congregation Aish Kodesh in Woodmere, NY. Rav Weinberger is a noted speaker who draws upon a vast array of sources in his shiurim. The diverse currents of the Maharal, Ramchal, Ba'al Shem Tov, Vilna Gaon, Rav Tzadok HaKohen, Rebbe Nachman, The Ba'al HaTanya and others merge within him and are transmitted to countless Jews of all backgrounds thirsting for knowledge, inspiration and guidance. The New Face of Philanthropy: Understanding a New Generation of Givers Addressed by Mark Charendoff
Mark Charendoff is the President of the Jewish Funders Network (JFN), an umbrella body of over 900 Jewish family foundations and independent funders. Prior to JFN, Mark was the Vice President of the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies where he helped to establish the Birthright Israel program, and he previously served as Director of Jewish Educational Services for the JCC Association of North America. He currently serves on the boards of Birthright Israel, BBYO International, the New York Jewish Week, the Jewish Communal Service Association of North America, Karev and on the Advisory Board of the Genesis Philanthropy Group.

Dear Friends,
Yeshiva University's Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education along with the Association of Jewish Outreach Programs is conducting a study of adolescent adjustment in the Orthodox Jewish community.
There has been much discussion and concern in the observant community about the many challenges facing our youth. It is no doubt a very complex and multifaceted concern with no simple solutions and all evidence that we have to date is anecdotal in nature.
The focus of the study will be on adolescents growing up in families who are newly observant as well as adolescents born into families whose parents have been observant from birth. The survey, to be completed by parents who have adolescents between the ages of 11 and 19, should take approximately 30 minutes. It is completely confidential and anonymous. The researchers will not be able to trace the identity of participants in the study.
In our times of financial stress, rapid assimilation and attrition of the religious community from within, we need to focus our efforts and resources in the most effective way possible. A well conducted, scientific survey of our youth and families is one of the best tools to help us identify the problems affecting our youth. It will help us to understand their mindset, and, therefore, help us to provide them with the best support possible.
Please complete the survey by December 22. The survey is to be completed by a parent, not the adolescent.
