Ohr Somayach will be offering several Legacy Learn Seminars in the next few months. The 7-10 day programs are designed for a Level 2 talmid who is interested in a primarily learning based experience. Hosted at our Monsey campus, the program offers a thorough, text-based, skills building introduction to the world of Torah learning The shiurim will be delivered by the Yeshiva's rabbanim and enrollment will be limited in order to meet each talmid's particular hashkafic/learning needs. A few trips and extra-curricular activities are built in to provide a balanced experience. The dates of the next few programs are Nov. 8-17, Dec. 19-28 and Jan. 3-10.

New! The Non-Orthodox Jew's Guide to Orthodox Jews
The Non-Orthodox Jew's Guide to Orthodox Jews was written by David Baum to fill a void - the lack of a single book that can be given to secular Jews that explains our thoughts and beliefs and the underlying reasons behind them. With an introduction written by HaRav Aharon Feldman of Ner Israel, the book touches on nearly every conceivable issue in a friendly and non-judgmental manner.
The book has also proven to be tremendous chizuk for Orthodox Jews, especially those in kiruv and can be purchased directly from the author, David Baum at jewsguide.com Enter promo code "kiruv" at checkout and enjoy the reduced price of $18.00 per book. |

Free Copies of The Art of Amazement
The Art of Amazement (English) is now out in its 3rd edition. We are giving this to outreach workers at or below cost. Last May we sent out 1,400 copies around the country. This tool is used for college outreach, young professionals, parents and sometimes older teens. One college student wrote: "The Art of Amazement has resonated very well with me as its contents are directed at a number of principles I have already sought to incorporate into my life, and by citing Judaism as one of the greatest ways of achieving these goals, it does a great deal to ease my hesitation in becoming a more religious Jew". Our goal is to make the net cost to any organization $0.00 and we have found several ways to achieve this. For more information or to order, please email Rabbi Alexander Seinfeld at seinfeld@jsli.org. |
