Your labor and delivery checklist

If you're expecting, you may be thinking ahead to the labor and delivery experience. To help ease apprehension, use this checklist to plan for the big day.
1. Tour our Family Beginnings unit. View a virtual tour prior to your stay, or sign-up for an in-person tour by calling 269-LADY.
2. Make a birth plan. Take a moment to download a birth plan. Having a plan will assist us in providing you specialized care during and after labor.
3. Pre-register for your hospital stay. Save time and pre-register online via CoxHealth Express, or call the Admissions Services team at 269-4051.

Your bundle of joy has arrived! Now you're tasked with caring for a newborn, and you may have questions along the way.
Our Family Beginnings classes can help prepare you for this exciting time in your life. Classes include Breastfeeding Basics, BabySense, Fatherhood Basic Training, Siblings and Parents and our newest class, DogSense, which helps you introduce your dog to the new family member. Classes can be purchased with your childbirth classes for one price. Call 269-LADY to register.
