Meet Murray Dewart
 Murray is an International sculptor and he is a founding member of Boston Sculptors. Several of his sculptures are on exhibit at Mill Brook Gallery. "My last year at Harvard College, I wandered into a sculpture class at the Carpenter Center and had a sudden revelation that brought me back to what was important in my childhood. I knew my imagination was my strength. I've loved building with tools and making things with my hands and I've never looked back."
What is your favorite recent piece of art?"My favorite sculpture is always the next one I'm doing. The great privilege of being an artist is the journey into the uncharted part of the map, with only the great artists of the past to give you guidance."
Why sculpture?
"I think of sculpture-making as a parable about following a plow toward the far horizon. The landscape is American, the plow is my own, self-made, self-tooled invention"
