 URGENT PRAYER NEEDED: Elijah Moore
We first met Elijah many years ago when we served with him at an event. He recently married a beautiful girl named Joy. And, he was part of the Skate Mission team that went to Rwanda.
We don't have specific details but it looks like Elijah came down with something called acute pancreatitis. It can be serious and can come about suddenly. He is in a hospital near his home in Virginia. His kidneys have gone into failure and the doctors have placed him in a medically induced coma. He is now in stable condition, but we ask that you take time to pray for him today. Get on your knees and cry out to the Lord for a miracle. He hears our prayers.

MISSIONS: Where is Christian Skaters?
This summer has been an amazing blessing of serving the Lord. In one summer we have had teams in Sweden, two parts of Africa, the UK, Guatemala, Germany, Austria, & Italy. Wow! To think about it makes my head spin. But, the Lord is using skateboarding in ways we could of never imagined.
We have set up a new blog, SkateMissions.com, so you can follow our journeys. We encourage you to keep these teams in prayer as they travel. The teams love to read your prayers and are encouraged by your comments.
 AustriaPro-Skater Josh Harmony, co-founder Ulises, and two students jumped on a plane to Austria to be part of an outreach there. Today's event will reach out to the skaters in this area of Austria. Please pray for the Lord to soften hearts so that they may truly hear His Word. The team have also traveled to Germany and will be heading to Italy tomorrow. Leave them a word of encoruagement at the Skate Missions site
Guatemala A team just returned from Coban, Guatemala where they built ramps for In His Steps International who have kicked off a new skate ministry. The team was able to go into schools and do demos and ended the week with a HUGE event to kick off this skate ministry. The videos, photos & stories of how the Lord used this team are amazing. Be sure to check them out.We hope to send more teams down in the future.
U.K. - England & Scotland
 Next stop is the UK. They will be hosting their annual Christian Skaters UK Skate Conference and we hope to send a team to help serve and encourage these leaders and stop at parks along the journey to share with the local skaters. If you feel called to join us or support the team, please email us or donate online. We need to raise a total of $3,000 for skater, Zac Archuleta & co-founder Uli Frallicciardi to head over to equip and encourage these leaders. All donations are tax-deductible.
How can you help?Some of us are called to go, some are called to pray, and some are called to send. There will be many opportunities to join us on these trips, simply email us to find out how. If you are willing to commit to praying, we ask you to check our Skate Missions site for specific requests. If the Lord is not calling you to go, but is tugging on your heart to be involved, consider donating towards our missions. Whether it's $5 or $5, it makes a difference in the kingdom. Since Christian Skaters is run entirely by volunteers, you can be sure that your donations are going directly these missions.  NEWS: I & I Skateboards
Nijah is the youngest skater to take the Tampa Am and now will be the youngest skater to have his own board company. Along with our home park family skater Anthony Williams & friend and skate evangelist Richard Jefferson, this team is sure to rock the skate world. Nijah just took away a 20k prize from Maloop Money Cup and if you have ever had the chance to see RJ or AW ride, then you know this team is not pulling any stops. But what does I & I mean? The saying comes from the Rastafari religion. It means I and the most high (jah). Want to know more about the Rastafari religion and the truth that Bible says? Check out the Christifari site here.
 So, why are we telling you about this? We all need to know ehat we believe and why we believe it. God has a plan in this all. He has put RJ right in the middle to be a light of truth to these two incredible skaters. Both Nijah and Anthony know the Word and with RJ right beside him we know that the Lord has big things planned. Please be praying for this team and their company, may the Lord work mightily.

GET INVOLVED: Opportunities to serve in Skate Ministry
Street Team...Help spread the word about Christian Skaters. Volunteers are needed to spread the word online and at events throughout the world. If you believe in our mission and want to serve, let us know.
 Intern...Want some hands-on experience in Skate Ministry? Join us at our hometown park, participate in our Skater's Bible Study, serve at our Free Saturday morning Skate lessons, get tips and see if skate ministry is for you. Motivated interns with a heart to serve are wanted.
Want to serve the Lord full time in Skate Ministry? Christian Skaters is putting together a Skate Ministry Discipleship program. You will spend four months in life changing discipleship, then serve two months at our skatepark ministry. You will leave changed, equipped and ready to serve the Lord. Our campus offers a Bible College & School of Worship where you can grow while serving at our skate ministry. To find out more, email us today.
