GET INVOLVED: Opportunities to serve in Skate Ministry
Street Team...Help spread the word about Christian Skaters. Volunteers are needed to spread the word online and at events throughout the world. If you believe in our mission and want to serve, let us know.
 Intern...Want some hands-on experience in Skate Ministry? Join us at our hometown park, participate in our Skater's Bible Study, serve at our Free Saturday morning Skate lessons, get tips and see if skate ministry is for you. Motivated interns with a heart to serve are wanted.
Want to serve the Lord full time in Skate Ministry? Christian Skaters is putting together a Skate Ministry Discipleship program. You will spend four months in life changing discipleship, then serve two months at our skatepark ministry. You will leave changed, equipped and ready to serve the Lord. Our campus offers a Bible College & School of Worship where you can grow while serving at our skate ministry. To find out more, email us today.

Keep your eyes out for FOOLISHNESS, an upcoming video from Skate Bible. Brian Sumner explains, "It's the straight forward Gospel presented by many Christian Skaters out there with original music by Josh Harmony and others." This is a video with amazing skate and incredible faith wrapped up into one. Don't expect any watered down version with this video. What does water and skateboarding have to do with each other?
Christian Skaters has been invited by the Palau ministry to be part of an amazing festival Jul. 17 - 18 in Kigali, Rwanda. Christian Skaters co-founder, Ulises Frallicciardi will be traveling with skaters Elijah Moore & Zac Archuleta to be part of this amazing event.
The Palau Ministry has vowed to make a "Five year footprint" on Rwanda. Through the festival Kigali
churches are mobilizing their congregations to co-labor for the good of the community. Together, they are building a new water catchment
system will bring clean water to its 2,200 children and will also
benefit those in the Genocide Survivors Village next door.
We are excited to build this new relationship in Rwanda.
The demo park will be left at a local church with boards and shoes to begin Rwanda's first skate ministry. Follow the trip on our new Skate Missions website: www.SkateMissions.com

Boarders for ChristBoarders for Christ is a skate and snowboard ministry featuring professional and amateur riders based out of the West Coast that has been bringing creative demos and outreaches to communities across the United States since 1997. This Summer, BFC launches their Good Tour which will be heading from West Coast to East Coast and back with four boarders and their traveling skate park.

 GROW:How Do You Know The Bible Is True?
Proving whether something is true or not is called apologetics. This
word is derived from the Greek word "apologia," which means "to
defend." If the Bible is not true or if it is filled with
errors, Christianity would only be a "blind faith"-something people
believe without any evidence to support it. However, Christianity is not a blind faith. It is the only
religion that can prove itself, and a main source of that proof is the
Bible.There is a lot of
evidence supporting Christianity. The is scientific proof, proof through fulfillment of prophecies, proof through textual evidence, and proof through the discovery of historians. Here only a few examples:
- Over 20,000 known manuscripts document the New Testament text. This makes the
New Testament the most reliable document of antiquity (a document written
before the printing press).
- The Bible is estimated to have been written between 1450 B.C. and 95
A.D. This chart shows scientific facts and principles referred to in
the Bible, but not actually discovered by humankind until later
centuries. Since people had no official knowledge or understanding of
these scientific facts when the Bible was written, is this scientific
proof that the Bible was inspired by God?
- One of the strongest arguments for the accuracy of the Bible is its
100% accuracy in predicting the future. These future predictions are
called "prophecies." The Old Testament was written between
approximately 1450 BC and 430 BC. During that time, many predictions of
the future were recorded in the Bible by God's prophets. Of the events
that were to have taken place by now, every one happened just the way
they predicted it would. No other "sacred writing" has such perfectly
accurate predictions of the future.

 REVIEW: Go Skate Day in Princeton, WV
One of our newest partner ministries, CFC Skate & Skateboard Plus in Princeton, West Virgina hosted a Go Skate Day Event with a demo by KKSM. Shane Ellison said, "After the demo, Elijah Moore gathered everyone around, and gave his testimony. He shared his love for Christ, and the blessings that God has given him. But something he stressed was that serving God gives him an identity outside of skateboarding. That it gave his life purpose and meaning. When he was finished, he asked the crowd if they would like to accept Christ into their hearts. He said it's just like in skateboarding when doing a trick. He said you either go for it, or you don't... you commit to it or you don't. He explained that he was going to give a countdown and ask people to come forward. And with a quick 1-2-3, they started coming forward!!! In all, we had 22 skaters go up and give their life to God." Read an article from their local paper here.

 GO: Skate CaymanStill looking for a summer vacation spot. Sunshine and skateboarding go together like trucks and bearings. This summer, Skate Cayman is bringing it all together with the first destination skateboarding camp of its kind in the Caribbean. Until August 21, some of the most well-known professional and amateur skaters will descend on Black Pearl, the second largest skatepark in the world, for a completely distinctive camp and family vacation experience. Monday through Friday, Skate Cayman will offer hands-on instruction for campers. Each week will be hosted by a different skate team or pro/am skater that will put their signature style on the camp. Black Pearl is a challenging but rider-friendly park that features three different main courses - expert, intermediate and beginner - with both a flow and street course for each level. The camp will be broken out by skill level, and trained coaches will lead instruction throughout the day. Campers will have the opportunity to sign up for a full week of camp or daily sessions, giving them the freedom to experience all that Cayman has to offer as the ultimate summer vacation destination.
