MISSION TO WHERE?
This summer Christian Skaters will be heading around the globe. This weekend Chad Tim Tim, Uli (co-founder), Zion & Roberto (team skaters) are in Sweden running the Christ Air camp. Pray that the Lord might use them in mighty ways.
 South Africa? This June, our ministry partners in South Africa, Son Skate, will be hosting their 2nd annual Skate Conference. Pray that they may be encouraged in their ministries.
 Liberia? 13 years of civil war in Liberia did incredible damage to the country.
It killed people, destroyed villages, and also destroyed
infrastructure. This will be the trip of a lifetime as they head to encourage the 10+ churches planted in this area of Africa. The team will walk 60 miles total and pour into those ministering in areas deviated by wars. Please pray for this mission, June 15-30. Liberia is not heavily traveled due to the destruction & dangerous conditions. We thank all of you who helped to make this trip possible.
California? CS friend Mike Doyle with his ministry, The Movement, will be hosting an event in Costa Mesa at the end of the month. CS will be on site to serve! Pray that the Lord may use this event to impact Orange County!
 Rwanda? Andrew Palau is traveling to Rwanda and Christian Skaters will be serving alongside the team in the skate/bmx areas. Pray that the Lord begins preparing the people of Rwanda to recieve the gospel.
 United Kingdom? In August, CS is heading to the UK for Creationfest. This FREE 7 day festival will feature skate, music, sports, teachings and more. Help us bring a revival to the UK. We still need to raise $3,000 to cover expenses. If you are able to partner with us on this, a donation of $5 or more will help us get closer to the goal.  Guatemala? At the end of August, we'll be sending a team to Coban to build ramps that will used to reach the youth all over Guatemala. The ramps are being built for In His Steps International. All the money for the ramps has been raised and they are on their way on a ship as I write this. However, we still need to raise funds to bring two of our builders over. Do you have extra frequent flyer miles? Consider donating them to bring our builders to Coban.

He took 2nd in the masters at the ProTec Pool Party. Here is what he had to say to Fuel TV.
Also proclaiming Jesus was Julie Kindstrand, who took 1st in women's. This girl can skate! She's also got one of the raddest families in the world who pour into her daily. GOD AT WORK
Skate In India: Update
 A few months ago, we told you a little about a ministry in India. Here is the latest update: "My name is Steve and I live in India with my wife and son. My main focus here is to reach out to youth, and I found skateboarding is one of the best ways to do that... let alone one of the best ways to spend your free time.
Every Sunday I take about 10 to 20 kids skateboarding. Most of them live on the streets here... but they all come to a little school-like ministry a couple hours a day. I think the last time I wrote we had one boy, about 13 years old get electrocuted and die at the hospital... very sad time here. One other prayer request a week or two after was for our kids, and some other street kids at a place we were skating at... a big huge fight broke out between them that was pretty brutal. It was a teachable moment (after the fact) and I, and the boys, learned a lot from it. I have still yet to check up on the other kids, if I can even find them, but hope that there will be some form of reconciliation in the future... maybe even another skate ministry venue can take place there... but for now we avoid skating there.
So, the more present prayer requests are concerning a few doors God is opening up that are coming up from now and through the summer.
This week, Monday- Friday (May 18th-22nd) I have been invited to have a skateboarding portion time at a big VBS program taking place at an international school. They want me to spend a couple hours a day with the teenage boys that come to it. There may be many kids who have never heard clearly about Jesus, so please pray for me to be a light, and that God would use skateboarding to be a good bridge in that. A bridge on wheels I guess. Never thought of it that way.
From May 30th till June 6th I spend a week at a ministry in Bombay (Teen Challenge) at one of their homes for different kids in need. The ladies are doing an Art camp with girls who have been rescued from brothels, and the boys I will work with I think were mostly coming off of drugs and living on the streets. It is called "Ashagram" if you want to google it and get an idea of what it is like there. I will be hanging out with the boys, teaching them how to skate, and sharing the love of Jesus with them. I think most if not all of them are believers, so I am sure we will have some deep conversations and growing times. Pray for that to happen. I will be leaving them some boards to keep and use and hopefully a new skate ministry and maybe skate ministers (for future ministries!!!) can be planted there.
June 7th till 12th I get to use skateboarding at a camp for m-k's that is taking place. Pray that I will be an encouragement and light to them... and pass on the vision to use skate as a way to build friendships and be able to share the love of Jesus with others. I know most of these kids, and my son Micah is one of them, so it will be different dynamics than the other opportunities, but important, once again, as I am wanting these kids to catch the vision. My prayer and heart for them is that they make a switch from seeing themselves as "m-k's" (missionary kids) and realize that if they walk with God, as many of them do, they can be "k-m's"... since God has called them to live here too, along with their families."

Want to serve the Lord full time in Skate Ministry? Christian Skaters is putting together a Skate Ministry Discipleship program. You will spend four months in life changing discipleship, then serve two months at our skatepark ministry. You will leave changed, equipped and ready to serve the Lord.
