DO SOMETHING: Causes
|
How can we each make an impact? As I step back and look at this generation, we are the generation that puts things into action. We see what we don't like and get up and DO SOMETHING about it. This new ENews feature will give you ideas on how to get involved.
As this first feature, we ask you each to consider joining us in our mission. You can make a difference from your living room. HOW?
- Join our cause on MySpace or Facebook
- Nominate us for the MySpace Impact Awards: Winners recieve a grant from MySpace
- Be a FOOT SOLDIER: Spread the word-Tell your friends, your pastor, your church about Christian Skaters and get a CS Home Study started.
- Join us on a SKATE MISSION
- Intern at our US OFFICE this summer: Interns come to Florida to help at our office at one week segements
- Pray for our ministry every Monday
- Give others ways to start skate ministries: Our giving allows others to build ramos to reach skaters. You can impact skaters around the globe!
- When you shop, purchase from our affliates (Skype, CafePress, Vista Print), as they contribute a portion of sales to the ministry.
- On Ebay, consider choosing Christian Skaters to recieve a percentage of your sales.

GROW: Devo with Mason Randall

I had the opportunity to stand on top of a mountain in Colorado today and I thought I would share it with you.
After a good tough climb I found myself standing on top of Mount Democrat at 14,148 feet. The view up there was awesome!
During the long push to the summit I was reminded of some things:
- Be resilient! Sometimes life is just down right challenging and one of the healthiest choices you can make is to be resilient in moving in the right direction in life. How are you doing with that?
- Watch your step! The times today that I stumbled were times when I was not observing well where I was stepping. Keeping a close watch on our actions and thoughts in life can protect us from many of our stumbles.
- Slow down! It was easy during my hike today to focus on my watch and the pace I was trying to go. I found myself missing some of the majesty of the creation because I was trying to go too fast. That reminds me to slow down in my own life so that I don't miss what the Creator wants me to see.

PRAY: Steve Steadman
|
 Steve's skateboarding career started in Las Vegas at the age of 17.
He rode for companies like Bones Brigade & Powell Peralta on the team with skateboarding legends Steve Caballero, Tony
Hawk, Mike Mcgill, Lance Mountain & Rodney Mullen. He broke racial barriers by becoming the sports first top
Professional Black skateboarder of its time. He really inspired more
black skaters to be part of skateboarding and have fun.
Steve still skates in pro events, tours and produces music. In Steve's words, he "has been blessed greatly by Jesus Christ, for without his love, my existence would have never become reality.
Then and now he blesses me."
Take time to pray for Steve this week and his new line called Messiah Skateboards
 We also ask that you pray for Boarders for Christ founder, Chris Lauri. BFC is a ministry we consider family. They are solid and a ministry that we admired for their boldness to live for Christ. Please pray for Chris and his family as they go through trials and changes. May the Lord give them peace that surpasses all understanding & may they rest and find strength in Him!

If any of you watched the 27th, we apologize. The TLC show with Uli & Toni will air next Saturday at 2pm.
Uli & Toni Frallicciardi, along with Joe Ferraro, help run the CS Office in Fort Lauderdale. The show focuses on a trial the Frallicciardi's went through in 2006 and the Skater's Bible Study they now have every week at their home.
