 WHAT IS CHRISTIAN SKATERS?
Christian
Skaters was formed in 2005 as the Lord led us to meet a need to equip
the many who are called to share the gospel with skaters around the
world. Our mission is to seek, support, equip, encourage, pray for and promote
skate ministries around the world. Ephesians 4:16 encourages us to work
together as a body. The Lord gave Christian Skaters a vision of
creating a body of skate ministries better equipped to fulfill the
Great Commission.

Bible Basics: TEAMWORK
|
 Christian Skaters was formed to create a united body of skate ministries who work together...TEAMWORK. God shows us teamwork many times throughout the Bible.
Have you ever tried to paddle a canoe by yourself? After a while it isn't much fun....it's just plain hard work. In Eccesiastes 4:9 Solomon says, "Two people are better off then one, for they can help each other succeed." Think about it, almost everything is better with a friend. Work is easier, play is more fun....even falling is better because you have someone to help you up. God understands our need for others. He knows it's hard to paddle through life alone.
So, next time you need prayer, help in ministry, encouragement, etc. please email us. We want to be on your team!

Get Involved: CHRISTIAN SKATERS INTERNATIONAL

 So,most of the time we feature other ministries, but this month we are asking for your help!
Christian Skaters grew from a vision in a dream to a ministry that gets over 1 million hits a year on it's websites from over 90 different countries and partners with ministries around the globe to share the gospel through skateboarding.
Still, we are in need of support to keep growing.
We still operate out of a home office in South Florida. Not one of us is compensated for our time. In fact, most often we invest our own money in skate missions, building ramps for ministries, etc. We continue to be blessed by just a handful of faithful supporters who belive in what the Lord has called us to do.
So, how can you help?????? PRAYER is our most important need. Pray that the Lord continues to grow our ministry, keeps His hand on us, keeps us in His word and following His heart, and blesses us! FINANCES help us to continue to bless ministries, help get new ministries off the ground, fly skaters to events to share the gospel, provide resources to help ministries reach skaters, support those skaters in the mission field and more. IN-KIND DONATIONS can provide our office with need supplies, our builders with materials for ramps, our team with transportation & needs, our third-world chapters with decks & Bibles, etc. SPONSORSHIPS & ENDORSEMENTS help us get the word out and support us in events. And, WORD OF MOUTH, helps us share what Christ is doing through Skate Ministry globally.

- Consider starting a chapter or a home study with us.

| Pray For:LIVIN IT IN JAMAICA
|
 Livin It is heading to Jamaica to participate in the Luis Palau Association festivals in Montego Bay, Mandeville, and Kingston April 26 - May 5, 2008! Jamaica 08 will be happening in three locations on different dates, culminating with the big event in Kingston.
Pray for the team in Jamaica including our family at Livin It, Untitled Skateboards & Splinter. Pray for their safety and for the Lord to use each of them greatly at this event. Pray for pro skater & leader of the build, Jud Heald as he has a large task ahead of him. Pray for each of the skaters to use their skills to gloify Jesus. May the Lord prepare Jamaica to hear the gospel and may the harvest be great!!!! spirit of one of the most influential activities in the world!
Skateboarders everywhere
will hold fundraisers, contests, protests, demo's, they'll skate across
cities, gather in skateparks, stream into their local skate shop and
some will even revel in the solitary act of skateboarding alone, all
bringing together the skateboarding community in the grind heard around
the world. |
