Ministry Opportunities

This Ontario Summer Camp is hiring for summer counseling positions. Click here to check out their website and to apply for a position click here. Positions are from June 20th to August 29th. They have several modestly paid positions (counselors, instructors, leadership) that can be used as paid training for a call to skate ministry. Email all questions to iwanttowork@muskokawoods.com

Christian Skaters will reach out by coming alongside existing ministries, starting chapters globally, hosting skate missions to build ministries & serve, equipping others through conferences, and teaming up in prayer.

Bible Basics:

Hope, simply stated, is looking forward to something you expect to happen. 1 Peter 3:15 reminds us to be ready to answer everyone who asks us to explain the hope we have as believers. Hope, faith and love are listed as three things that will remain when everything else is gone (1 Corinthians 13:13) We have hope because of the faith we have in Christ. We can be certain of what we hope for because we know that Christ paid the price.

What do you hope for? Grab your Bible and read: Psalm 31:24, Psalm 42:5, Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:24-25, Romans 15:13, and Hebrews 10:23

Pray For: Australia

Since we started on this journey of Christian Skaters, we have had a large amount of interest in Australia. We see the Lord using skate in every area of this country. So, this month we ask for your prayers.

David Reasbeck, skate missionary, is currently in Australia for a month. He will visit the Gold Coast & Sydney areas with a heart to plant a skate church.

Christian Skaters has an Official Chapter in Gosford, New South Wales.

Pray for the following:

That the Lord create unity in the body of skate ministries so that they may pray for and encourage one another.
Pray for David to be used greatly on this trip and that he is blessed abundantly. Pray that the Lord keeps him healthy and strong, that He provides for all of his needs, and that He keeps David safe in his travels.
Pray for Mic, Harrison, Melody, Scott, & the other leaders at Christian Skaters Gosford. May the Lord bless them beyond expectations, expand their territory and keep His hand on them.
Pray for the skate industry in Australia. May the Lord use those who love Him to greatly impact the culture of skate.
Pray for the Lord to raise up a willing Australia Coordinator for Christian Skaters who loves Jesus with all of their heart.
Pray that many come to know Christ

Get Involved - Join Enoch on a trip to Skid Row

Join Uli from Christian Skaters and Enoch magazine on a trip to Skid Row Los Angeles the last week of March (March 20- April 1st). They will not be feeding or preaching to the homeless. Instead, they will be living with them for a week, trying to understand their life and needs, waiting for God's voice on what to do. They want to love them, not exploit them. For them, this is a real opportunity to allow God to work through them in a scary situation.

What can we do through Christ who strengthens us? Wouldn't Christ walk into Skid Row and sit down, despite all the danger? Will this spur a revival in this 4-block radius? Will they capture enough footage and vision from this trip to inspire an organized siege of love by young people who want an exciting life serving Christ?
