Christian Skaters will reach out by coming alongside existing ministries, starting chapters globally, hosting skate missions to build ministries & serve, equipping others through conferences, and teaming up in prayer.

BIBLE BASICS
|
Since it's the New Year, let's start 2008 with a firm foundation. The Gospel....Quite simply, THE GOOD NEWS!
So what is THE GOOD NEWS? It
all can be simplified to 4 Spiritual laws. Just like the physical law
of gravity (what goes up must come down), these spiritual laws are
truth direct from the BIBLE.
#1 - God LOVES you and has a plan for your life. Read John 3:16 & John 10:10-
#2 - We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. Therefore our sin keeps us from experiencing God's love and true plan for our lives. Read Romans 3:23 & 6:23
#3 - God allowed His son, Jesus, to die as a sacrfice to create a bridge so that we may be forgiven and able to experience the love and plan of God. Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-6, & John 14:6.
#4 - All we must do is believe that Christ indeed died for our sins and recieve Him as our saviour who paid the debt for our sins.
HOW? Pray from your heart..."Father, I know that I
have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am
truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life
toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again.
I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected
from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become
the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day
forward.
Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will
for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Pray For - Nairobi, Kenya
|
 A few months ago, a team of skaters were able to take part in an outreach in Nairobi. At the event with musician Kirk Franklin, over 5,000 people were estimated to make decisions for Christ. It is Christian Skaters heart to follow up with these people who were impacted and come alongside the locals there who have a heart for the youth and love skateboarding to create true disciples of Christ.
Currently, post-election violence has left 100s in a normal peaceful area dead or injured. We ask for your prayers for this area during this difficult time.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION:
To resolve: To form a purpose; to make a decision; especially, to determine after reflection; as, to resolve on a better course of life.
Here at Christian Skaters, we have made a few resolutions that we hope to stick to. Too often New Year Resolutions are long forgotten by February. That's why we are asking for your help....accountability, prayer, input, partnerships....with you we can make an impact!
- At Christian Skaters we want to be more like Christ, therefore we want to serve you the best way possible. We ask for your help by filing out a simple survey .
 - To fulfill the great commission, we must spread the Word. We ask for your help by sending our email to friends and family who might be interested.
 - We hope to partner with missionaries, ministries and churches and equip those with a heart to reach skaters. We ask for your help by praying with us and supporting these ministries & missionaries through Christian Skaters.
- We hope to create a strong body of those willing to reach skaters. We ask for you help in contributing through your gifts, time & service. We need those with gifts of carpentry, skate, filming, photography, design, marketing, web, graphics, administration, planning and so much more. Email us at info@ChristianSkaters.com to get involved.
- And, without money we are unable to send missionaries & speakers, build ramps, buy supplies, and continue projects like the Skater's Bible, Outreaches & Skate Ministry Conferences. We ask you to prayerfully consider partnering financially to help us continue ministry around the globe. You one time donation or monthly commitment will help us to reach all corners of the globe with the gospel.

ORLANDO SURF EXPO
|
 Join Christian Skaters at the Surf Expo January 10 - 13th. If you at there, stop by our booth and introduce yourself. If you can't make it, pray for many to stop by and for Christian Skaters to be a bright light at this industry event.
