Recounting the 1st annual Skate Ministry Conference
September 13th-15th over 100 people from skate
ministries around the globe met together at Calvary
of Albuquerque for the 1st Annual Skate Ministry
Conference. Those who were just starting ministries,
youth pastors, skatepark workers, pro & am skaters,
etc. who all have a heart to reach skaters with the
love of Christ had a chance to encourage, equip and
pray for one another.
Friday night, Christian Skaters partnered with the
conference attendees & Calvary of Albuquerque to
host an outreach with over 3,000 in attendance. Over
200 made a decision for Christ.
The conference was the first as we begin to build an
army of soldiers who will share with the world. Please
continue to pray for all skate ministries globally.

Skate in Cairo
Livin It to Build the 1st park in the Region
This November, the Luis Palau Assocsiation and
Livin It will be partnering with the largest evangelical
church in the Arabic-speaking world to share the
Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the Middle
East. Included in this event, Livin It will construct the
first skatepark in the Middle East. The park will be
used for the Livin It demos then left as a gift for the
community of Cairo, Egypt. The team will arrive
several days before the festival to construct the park.
After the event, thousands of kids will be able to skate
and bike on the ramps. It is their mission to eave the
park fully equipped for the community.
We
are asking for your help!! Livin It will need 10
complete skateboards, 5 complete freestyle bikes
and safety equipment (helmets & wrist/elbow/knee
pads). If you are able to help with any of these items,

Skate in Jamaica
Boston Bay is home to the best surf in Jamaica. Skate
has also become a love of the locals. Yet, the brutal
concrete, thrown together ramp, and couple
skateboards shared by the community stirred a vision
in Steven King for something more. Through Splinter
Skateparks, Jamaica will soon have it's first
skatepark.
We again are asking for you help. In order to minister
through skate, we need skate shoes, decks, trucks,
wheels, bearings, hardware, grip, safety gear, and
donations to build.
We are able to make a HUGE impact on all corners of
the globe through our newfound family of ministries.

Short Term Missionaries Needed
Opportunities in Scotland & the UK
If you love the Lord, love skate and have a heart for
missions, we need you. Christian Skaters will partner
with ministries to bring short term Christian skaters to
Scotland and the UK to serve alongside growing
ministries in the area.
Pray about being
involved or helping to support skaters as they serve in
these areas.

Featured Ministry
Heaven Skates is a ministry to skaters of all types
and ages in the Cartersville, Georgia area. Heaven
Skates began in March of 1997 after two young boys
were struck by cars while skating in the
streets.
Bill Mohler, founder of this ministry, shared his heart
at our recent conference. He has a vision to expand
his ministry to include a ministry called The Resting
Place that will serve as a home to youth having
difficulties at home.
Please pray for this
ministry. Pray for Bill and the skaters who are
impacted by this ministry. Pray for the Lord to guide
and open many doors for Bill to continue to minister
to the skaters in this area.

Christian Skaters is a small grassroots ministry with

We have seen the Lord work in humbling ways as He

family of our troops in both Georgia & Japan. Pray

the Lord provides funds needed to fly teams to
Okinawa and that He may lead many to Him through

October 13th and their upcoming event in Cairo. May
the Lord keep His hand on the
planning of this event and bring many to hear His
word!
Pray for Christian Skaters to partner with more
ministries around the globe.
Pray for our chapters, leaders, and churches, that
we may be bright lights who glorify the Lord through
this ministry.
Pray for the Frallicciardi family to step out in faith
and begin to serve as full-time missionaries. Pray that
the Lord may provide a clear path.

chapters to visit South Africa to attend the 2008
Christian Surfers conference.

skaters who love the Lord and want to impact the

FREE
We were sitting at a local restaurant one day
enjoying a meal. When it came time to pay, the waiter
said that someone had taken care of the bill. Yes, it
was a HUGE blessing but I also felt a bit helpless not
knowing who paid or how I might repay them for the
favor. I just had to trust the waiter that the bill had
indeed been repaid and accept that I couldn't do
anything to pay this person back.
As I began to think of it, it reminded me of our
salvation. Jesus paid the cost. We can not pay him
back. We must accept His payment and be grateful
that we never need to pay the price on our own.

Creationfest UK
Creationfest is held each August in Devon, England.
The free event features amazing bands, a skatepark
and speakers. Creation fest 2007 was a great
success!
Please pray for the Lord to continue to work through
this
annual event.
Skate Conference in
UK
Please pray for Christian Surfers UK as they host a
Skate Ministry Conference, November 9th - 11th at
