was recently honored for her work throughout Los Angeles County and specifically the Long Beach Community..  Coined as a Phenomenal Woman, an advocate for women and community activist she is now a recipient of the Black History Award from the Long Beach Affiliate Chapter of the NAACP.

Changing Shoes In Pink will host its first Women's Conference March 17, 2012 @ Light and Life Church in Long Beach. This event will take place from 10 am - 2pm and include FREE mammography screenings conducted by Watts Healthcare Corp.For more info. contact:

Meetings are held in the Health Enhancement Center's Parr Room on the 2nd Floor every third Saturday monthly.
