Abundant Wellness
Abundantly Blessed!
If you missed this heavily attended event you missed out! We had a blast. The atmosphere was breathtaking, definitely upscale and upbeat. The event commenced with an opening prayer and praise by way of Pastor Tracey Weathers and the True Praise In Motion Dancers. The Mistress of Ceremony (Tangie Ambrose), floored the crowd with her spill on her connection to our group. The awe inspiring panelists did their thing covering topics such as: Mammography, The Standard of Care, Breast Reconstruction Options, New Technologies in Treatment, Costs and Advocacy. Closely followed by an Awards Ceremony honoring Robina Smith, MD, Joel Aronowitz MD, Mary Simms PhD, Rosalyn Morrell, MD and Janet (Granny) Smith for their ongoing service and contributions to the community. Phenomenal gifts and door prizes were given, entertainment included Etta Mae Mumphies and soloist Janet Robertson.
The afternoon closed with closing remarks from Jurline Redeaux of New Impressions. My Sister My Friend Breast Cancer Support would like to thank all of those who participated and or supported our endeavors.

Covering Families
Although you may have missed the luncheon last Saturday you can continue to support our efforts by donation. Your contributions help us fund families in need of co-pay assistance, prescription meds, transportation, wigs, prosthesis and more. Your contributions are also tax deductible. Our motto is "Charity begins at home". It is imperative that we support those battling breast cancer by starting right where we are.
The holidays are coming and these families are in need.
