Commercial/Multifamily Research, Mortgage Bankers Association ( pictured above). Jamie shared MBA's economic outlook affecting commercial property financing, including present economic conditions and future prospects for our industry.

Annual Meeting & Holiday Luncheon
The association's long-standing tradition --- The Annual Meeting & Holiday Luncheon will be held on Friday, December 11,  2009 at the Mayflower Hotel, 1127 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington, DC, starting at 11:45 am. This is the association's last event of the year, and is always well-attended by members, guests, as well as past and present association leaders. We're pleased that joining us will be the Executive Director and a program participant from one of the wonderful housing charities that MBA/MW members have supported this year - Hope and a Home. During the brief business portion of the program, members will vote on the association's 2010 Board of Governors Slate.
Be sure to register for the luncheon by December 4 to take advantage of early bird pricing.

Mid-Atlantic Lender/Broker Conference a Huge Success
200 residential real estate finance professionals attended MBA/MW's Mid-Atlantic Lender/Broker Conference on November 4 at the Waterford at Fair Oaks in Fairfax, VA. Volunteers Needed
MBA/MW has a long tradition of involvement and support from its members on various committees that are the real backbone of our organization. We are seeking volunteers who are interested in joining one or more of our committees for 2010.
Being active on an association committee will enable you to stay informed on key issues critical to our everyday business, and is a great way to gain exposure and insight into our dynamic industry. MBA/MW cannot survive without active volunteers. Anyone currently working for a MBA/MW member company is eligible to participate.
