PADI Certification for High School Students
Students from John Gray High School in Grand Cayman successfully completed the PADI Open Water Course as part of their school studies. The course, which is taken by Cayman Island's youth and run annually by RSS, lays the foundation for a career in the local dive/watersports industry. Sunset House Divers kindly supported the program by supplying the use of its pool facilities, tanks and dive location to facilitate the confined water training and open water dives. James Dudley, Director of Training at RSS, (pictured on left) praised the high level of commitment that the students showed throughout their training and added that this year's course had been completed in record time!

    RSS Hawaii Turns 20!
Red Sail Sports first opened its doors on The Big Island of Hawaii in 1988. For the past 20 years, RSS has been providing catamaran sails, bike and kayak excursions as well as watersports for Kohala coast resort guests. Just this past year, RSS expanded its operations. It now operates the Noa Noa catamaran out of Kona so guests staying on the Kona side of the island can conveniently sail with the island's sailing experts!

The Noa Noa: Dry no more!
Each year the RSS catamarans undergo an extensive dry dock as part of our ongoing commitment to excellence. Our Hawaii vessels must also meet strict U.S. Coast Guard guidelines. After a thorough refit, the Noa Noa is now back in the water looking better...and wetter...than ever!

The Balia catamaran is setting sail daily in St. Kitts for Snorkel and evening Sunset Sails. Here are just some of the comments we've received from our first guests:

"Yesterday, my wife and I, plus her parents, were on the Sunset Sail. It was without a doubt the highlight of our week on St. Kitts. The scenery was spectacular. Captain Clayton, and the shipmates (Johnny B and Lance), were so friendly, informative, and professional. They made the trip even more fun than we expected. And to top it all off, the catamaran was absolutely stunning. We've never been on such a clean, immaculate boat ever...anywhere in the world. We are coming back to St. Kitts and plan on taking several more trips with Red Sail Sports. They're top of the line in every way, and we wouldn't even consider going to one of their competitors."
-Dr. Alan Zimmerman & Christine Zimmerman

"Thank you again for a great sail last week. My family and I had a relaxing time! The whole experience was terrific; you have a terrific/friendly crew and a wonderful/clean sailing vessel! And thank you for taking care of my daughters on board while my husband and I got to snorkel."
-The Petrosini Family, Spring Lake, NJ

"Gentlemen, thank you for the wonderful hospitality you showed my family earlier this month. We had a terrific time in St.Kitts and will be sure to return in the future. Our snorkel sail on the last day was certainly the highlight and the teenagers are still telling their friends about it. Thank you again and I hope I can return the favor in the future."

The Perfect Wedding Gift is Yours to Give
Sure they signed up for a gift registry, but if you want your gift to stand out from the others, consider giving the gift of an UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE: a RSS gift card. If they are honeymooning anywhere near our catamarans they are sure to love our popular dinner sail for two. It's way more fun than a toaster oven and certainly more romantic than a place setting! A more adventurous couple would surely enjoy one of our snorkeling trips or maybe even an introductory scuba course. Either of these is much better than an aquarium...and we all know what happens to THOSE fish!

It's true that memories last a lifetime so make your wedding gift count and contact us today. We'll help you with the details and answer your questions so that the entire experience is smooth sailing!

Honeymoon gift certificates, which come in any denomination, may be used for any Red Sail Sports activity or in any RSS retail boutique. Each gift certificate comes with a pair of free fun "flipper" key chains for the happy couple. Shipping is free via the U.S. Postal Service or for $10.00 it may be sent via FedEx 2-Day Air.
