Casey Ross-Petherick Joins Hall Estill
OCU Professor Joins Indian Law Group

Hall Estill announces the addition of Casey Ross-Petherick to the firm's Indian Law practice in Oklahoma City. Ross-Petherick joined Hall Estill as Of Counsel effective June 1, though she will maintain her position as a clinical instructor at Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Ross-Petherick, the current clinical professor of the American Indian Wills Clinic at OCU School of Law, graduated cum laude from the Meinders School of Business at OCU in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. In 2003, she completed her Master of Business Administration degree and earned her Juris Doctor from OCU School of Law.
She served as the senior legislative officer for the Cherokee Nation in Washington D.C. from 2003 to 2005. Since January 2009, she has taught in the Indian Law program at OCU School of Law, including courses in Native American Victims Rights, Tribal Law and American Indian Law. Professor Ross-Petherick's scholarship centers on Indian land issues in Oklahoma. She is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation.
