Birthday Wishes

On average each month, more than 200 Oklahoma county children have a birthday while in foster care. While we hope that they are in a loving home that could celebrate their latest milestone, we know that many are not. Your gift of $25 goes to provide a cake (thru Birthdays Made With Love) and gift for a child in foster care.
Please go to OKFosterWishes.com to read the names and ages of children who will celebrate their birthday this month away from their family and uncertain of their future.

Flux

Flux was a great success! We celebrated with youth from all over the state as we expanded our highschool graduation party for foster youth to include many counties outside the OKC metro area.

Because of your generosity, the grads were provided with celebration T's, dinner, dancing and door prizes for each!

Dr. Shropshire and Pastor Trevor Williams shared messages of encouragement and hope. Pastor Williams edified the youth on their accomplishment and ability to do the hard work to make a path for their futures. Dr. Shropshire affirmed that each of them will not be forgotten, that they are each etched into the hearts of foster families, caseworkers, judges, volunteers.

Please pray specifically for our Oklahoma youth during this summer as they find their way in the world.

June Is Time For Family Fun

We are excited to be a part of the annual Oklahoma County Foster Family Fun Day! We are partnering with LifeChurch.tv NorthWest, OKDHS and others to honor foster families by inviting them to a day at the Oklahoma City Zoo. We will provide a barbecue dinner, have face painting, family portraits, and more!

Would you like to volunteer to serve kids in foster care and their families caring for them?

Teen Mother's Shelter In Need

Did you know that there is a Shelter in Oklahoma City for teen mothers in foster care? They are taught to care for their babies 24/7 and learn the life and parenting skills needed to prevent the cycle of generational foster care.
