National Association of Counties (NACo) Leaders and Staff Visit The NetWork

With assistance from Hennepin County Commissioner Peter McLaughlin, several members of NACo, including incoming NACo President Chris Rodgers and Chairman John Eaves, visited The NetWork to learn more about how our innovative social change model helps high-risk men transition into the community successfully, reducing the likelihood of returning to prison.

We discussed potential ways to work with NACo to adapt our model in 3-5 counties nationally. This visit was part of The NetWork's ongoing effort to share lessons learned and glean best practices from organizations and agencies working with high-risk adults across the nation.

The National Association of Counties  (NACo) is the only national organization that represents county governments before the executive administration and Congress. NACo provides essential services to the nation's 3,068 counties.

The second time he was released, Patrick connected with the NetWork for Better Futures, a Minneapolis-based group that offers a comprehensive program to help ex-offenders re-enter society.
