The NetWork Testifies for Jobs Innovation Bill
In March, NetWork representatives, participants, and legislative supporters headed to the Capital where they testified in support for a jobs innovation bill for hard-to-employ Minnesota.

The NetWork Leases a New Guesthouse for Participants
The NetWork for Better Futures recently leased a new guesthouse in North Minneapolis for up to 32 participants.
This new guesthouse will help us address the chief barriers that high-risk men face in the workforce and community, including unsta ble housing, and homelessness.
Our guesthouses also helps to build a vibrant community and a culture of respect and personal accountability for a group of men that share a community experience centered on the values reflected in all the other areas of our operation (jobs, healthcare, and behavior health).

Spring Cleaning Time and We Can Help!
It's spring cleaning time and Better Futures Enterprises (BFE) , our business unit, can help you dispose of your household goods and building materials in an environmental sounds way.
BFE offers the following services:
- Large item pick up and disposal. For a modest fee, we'll pick up your gently used household goods and waste generated from renovation including: non-upholstered furniture, appliances, plastics*, clothing, cabinets, flooring, doors, windows and trim, lighting and plumbing fixtures, and books. (*Patio furniture, kid's toys, and other large plastic items.)
- Material harvesting. BFE's experienced work crews are ready to harvest reusable or recyclable materials from homes and buildings that are slated for renovation or demolition. By hiring a crew, owners earn a tax savings and may reduce the overall cost of a renovation or demolition.
- Used goods drop off. For no charge, you can drop off your used goods and materials (books, appliances, household furnishings and fixtures, plastics, and building materials), Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The warehouse is located at 6100 Olson Memorial Hwy in Golden Valley, MN. Note: Please call ahead to let us know you are coming: 612-455-6133 x121.

By supporting this social enterprise, you and our community benefits in multiple ways: you pay lower dumpster fees; we reduce the amount of waste going to landfills; your goods and materials can be counted as a charitable contribution; new jobs are created for chronically unemployed people; child support payments increase; and the public costs related to health care and imprisonment are reduced.
