Greetings!
The theme on the SeaSquared this week was snappers and sharks.
Families from North Carolina, New Jersey, Florida and even the United Kingdom caught and released lots of large lemon sharks and brought back loads of tasty mangrove and yellowtail snapper for dinner.
The Bagni family, from Long Island, didn't go fishing, but they enjoyed the world-famous Florida Keys sunset aboard the comfortable SeaSquared.

Wednesday and Thursday, July 27 and 28, are lobster mini season in Florida.
Recreational lobster harvesters get two days to catch their limits of tasty crustaceans before the season opens for the commercial lobstermen.
Marathon welcomes buggers from near and far to take the plunge with their nets and tickle sticks. Along with your mask, fins, snorkel and gloves, don't forget the dive flag.
Lobstering is 100% fun as long as you mind the regulations and are mindful of others while on the water. Remember, Monroe County has its own set of regulations, which you can find here: http://floridakeys.noaa.gov/Lobster2011.pdf
The SeaSquared will not be charter fishing during the two days of mini season. Instead, we'll be going out with friends to snag our own bugs! Pics to follow!
