Do you have Cell Tower Customers who need an alert when back-up propane tanks run low?

ROCHESTER Gauges manufactures 2 Styles of Tank Dial Switches that work with Cell Tower Companies who need Twinsite to Monitor Tank Gauges.

TwinSite Switch

Rochester TwinSite switches are utilized where direct-reading plus electrical contact closure is required. Models are available to fit all Rochester Junior & Senior gauges with large magnets.

The most popular TwinSite Switch is Part Number 5351S01925, a junior dial that switches at the 30% level. A connector & harness assembly, with three 18" long wires, must be ordered separately under Part Number 0154S00023.

NOTE: Some applications require use only with intrinsically-safe circuits.

Remote Ready Dial R3D & Reed Switch Module

Remote Ready Dial, R3D, is a magnetically-driven, Reed Switch compatible dial. Dials are utilized on stationary applications where direct reading plus an electrical signal to a remote fuel level monitor may be required. Models are available to fit most Rochester liquid-level gauges.

Once installed, the Reed Switch Module can provide a switch closure at a predetermined low level.

The most popular R3D Reed Switch Module has been Part Number 9750-00005 with a 20% activation level and Part Number 9750-00007 with a 30% activation level. The R3D Reed Switch Module has a wiring harness length of 6-1/2 feet.

The most popular application for either the first generation TwinSite Switch or R3D Reed Switch Module has been on propane tanks used at remote cell tower locations.

3-1/4" Brass ACME Caps with Cable Lanyard and Nameplates

The 3-1/4" Brass ACME caps will feature name plates calling out liquid, vapor, or spray fill. In addition this ACME cap assembly will be fitted with a cable type lanyard crimped and installed on the cap.

The other end will not be crimped; an additional sleeve is supplied to allow for custom installation.

Propane fueled heater regulators are not interchangeable.

ENERCO Technical Service has been fielding calls concerning operating issues with propane heaters. Each propane heater has different volume and pressure requirements and should only be displayed, demonstrated and/or sold with the specific regulator supplied with the heater. The technicians have found that the problems heaters were either opened display or demonstration heaters where the regulators have been inadvertently switched.

As a mandate from the certifying agencies, the propane regulators must be color coded to the heaters. Each heater will have a color coded sticker by the hose connection on the heater that corresponds to a color coded sticker on the regulator (Figure 1). It's also important to note that while the color code may match, not all heater/hose connections are the same size.

To avoid confusion, if a heater is to be demonstrated or displayed, the hose and regulator assembly should either be securely connected to the heater or attached to the heater handle using nylon zip ties. (Figure 2).
