FUN FACT
Native Americans used lacrosse to settle disputes over land as an alternative to war. The games were major events that could last several days and as many as 100 to 1,000 men from opposing tribes would participate. The playing field was located in open plains between the two villages and the goals could range from 500 yards to several miles apart.

What was your most memorable game?

Beating East Side select- we were down by 6 goals with eight minutes to go and I scored seven straight goals to win the game. It was not only me though. Our face-off man won seven straight face-offs to help give us the ball and we moved the ball very well on offense. The team effort was great and to come back from being six goals down was a great accomplishment for our team- it really showed us what we are capable of if we all work together.

Do you have any traditions or rituals that you or your team does before a game?

I re-tape my stick before each game and pray before each game, as well.

Why do you love playing lacrosse?

I love lacrosse because it is a unique sport that has contact and is a mixture of many sports. If you want to be good, you can be, you just have to put in the work. You don't have to be be genetically advanced either. For example, a football players has to be 6 foot 8; in lacrosse, as long as you work as hard as you can and "want" it badly enough, you will probably be successful in lacrosse.
