Two Weeks Remaining!
We have two weeks remaining in our prayer campaign which concludes on November 2. Let me give a few reminders:
1. The stories that we provide each day are designed to motivate you toward prayer. Hopefully the stories are reminding you how far we have drifted from our Godly foundation. Please don't get caught up in the story! Instead get caught up in prayer!
2. If we as the church are not praying, then we are going to keep staying where we are! God is waiting on His people to call out to Him for the nation! He will answer our prayers if we will humble ourselves and pray (2 Chronicles 7:14).
3. We currently have more than 2,000 people who have indicated that they are praying each day at 12:23! While this is terrific and exciting (especially in light that we have only recently started this effort), I know there should be thousands more. Can you imagine if Christians from all denominations would agree to "glorify the Lord" each day together at 12:23! If you have not registered, please do so today at www.twelve23.org.
4. Please send others to the website to register. While people don't have to register to pray, it certainly is better if they will. By registering, they: a) receive a daily email reminder to pray; b) become part of something greater than themselves; and c) answer the prayer of Christ that we would come together (John 17).
Commit to pray with fervency the next two weeks. God is waiting to hear from you!

Today's Prayer
"O Father, Great awesome God whose Name is holy exalted above all. Praise You for guiding our founding fathers and early Presidents to build this "nation under God with liberty and justice for all." Thank You for blessing America!
Lord, forgive us for racing forward to 2011 without embracing You and Your Word. We have sinned, rebelled, and turned from You. We confess sins of gross immorality, abortion, and idolatry. Hear our cries--shower us with Your mercy. May You once again be Lord over our nation. May Your face shine on us and Your light through us to all nations. Amen."

She is the wife of Dr. Roger Breland, who serves as a Vice President and the Director of Center for Performing Arts at the University of Mobile.
