A Nation Gone Under?
What has happened to the UNITED States of America? Do we have any real unity? It seems that we are as polarized as ever as liberals and conservatives battle daily over issues related to freedom.
Regardless of where you may fall in this battle, one thing is for certain - America needs God . . . America was founded upon God (the One found in the Bible) . . . and America cannot and will not be blessed without God!
Ronald Reagan stated, "America needs God more than God needs America. If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a Nation gone under."
Pray that we as Americans will place God in His rightful position! Pray that Christians of all denominations will unite as one and lead this nation where it needs to go. |
Today's Word from the Holy Bible
Jesus said during His final night of prayer, "I am praying . . . that they will all be one, just as you and I are one-as you are in me, Father, and I am in you . . . I pray that they may experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me."

Today's Prayer
"Lord, please help America. In this battle that is raging and growing across our great land, please bring peace, hope, answers, and help. We need you, oh God. We don't need all these things that we think we need. We don't need more of the same. Lord, what we need is simply You. So Lord, we call upon you to help our nation and the leaders of this nation to to put You in Your rightful place - the place of Lordship. Give us the faith and courage to let You be God in this land.
We pray in Jesus' name, Amen."
