 Thank you to all who supported the Canstruction® Orlando competition this year! R.C. Stevens Construction and HuntonBrady Architects have constructed the Eiffel Tower in red, white and blue! You can check it out at Orlando Fashion Square Mall from Oct 16 - 23, 2011 during normal Mall hours or just view the photo below.
Canstruction® Orlando is a friendly design/build competition between architects, engineers, and other community groups where sculptures are created using only canned and non-perishable, packaged foods. Since this is a competition, we are shamelessly asking you to vote for our team! Remember, at the end of the competition and exhibition, all of the "building materials" are donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, a local non-profit organization that collects and distributes food to those in need. Last year there were more than 24,000 items of food donated. This year's total exceeds 31,000! More information on Canstruction® Orlando can be found at http://www.canstruction-orlando.org.
